How did The Plant come about?
The Plant happened when a handful of old friends, all having worked together in some capacity in the past, got together and realised that they’d been working on some huge accounts and doing great work – so why not combine their forces and start a full service high quality studio.
What do you mean about combining forces?
Every one of us has different experience and different strengths. Between Daniel, John, Chris and Rob, we have over 40 years experience and every single design field covered. Daniel is the logo and graphics guy, John and Chris are web gurus, Rob is our product design expert and offers a “right-brain” perspective on all of our work. Having said that, all 4 of us have experience in all of those areas – we just chose to specialise in one or another.

I thought you’d never ask (which is why I asked on your behalf). Whether you’re a new startup business looking for world domination, or an existing larger company in need of a fresh, calculated and effective approach, we have the ability and enthusiasm you need. We aren’t just designers – we have real world marketing and advertising experience. We’re ideas people, yes, but that is not limited to pretty pictures or fancy web effects. Our ideas extend as far as your entire marketing strategy. We try to be several steps ahead.
Ok, cool.. so where are you based?
We are based in South-West WA. WAIT – don’t close the site. Over 80% of our clients are based on the East Coast. We have streamlined our service and are masters at working in a remote situation. Through phone calls, emails and Skype, there is no situation that requires us to have a physical presence. Sure we’d love it if we could, but it’s not essential. If you are located in Perth, then we can most certainly arrange a meeting.
